Postgraduate Program in Economics for Non-Economists

Master the Economic Principles That Shape the World

The Postgraduate Program in Economics for Non-Economists is designed to provide students with essential foundational knowledge, offering a comprehensive introduction to economics, international economic frameworks, and, in particular, the economies of the European Union and Spain.

Classes are held in person, with one session per week (Thursday afternoons), from October to June, at the Polytechnic and Social Sciences Campus in Madrid-Princesa, located at 27 Calle Santa Cruz de Marcenado, next to the Argüelles metro station.

The faculty comprises professors and lecturers from nine universities—renowned experts in their respective fields—who are committed to making this Economics for Non-Economists program a benchmark academic experience. Their dedication extends beyond classroom teaching to include exam preparation support and supervision of the final postgraduate project.

The course carries a total of 15 ECTS credits and is structured into nine subjects, covering 28 lessons in total, as well as the completion of a final postgraduate project.

Testimonials

testimonio
"At Nebrija University, we believe that economics should not be reserved for experts, but should be accessible to everyone. That is why we designed this course with a practical approach, free from unnecessary technical jargon, yet maintaining academic rigor. What makes me most proud is seeing how our students—from entrepreneurs to artists—are able to apply what they have learned in their daily lives: negotiating more effectively, understanding economic news, or even planning their retirement with confidence. If you are looking for a course that truly empowers you, this is the one that will change your perspective"
Ana Fernandez Ardavin Martinez Dean of the School of Economics and Business
